FM, IECEx and INMETRO approvals for the PR 5343 2-wire level transmitter
PR has recently applied and received IECEx and INMETRO certification on the PR 5343A 2-wire level transmitter. The already Atex approved I.S.-variant of the transmitter, type PR 5343B, has received IECEx, INMETRO, and the FM certification.
Suitable for measuring liquid levels in a wide range of industry processes
The 5343 level transmitter can take in potentiometer signals which e.g. is used for measuring liquid levels – for instance in a tank - this by using a level sensor having reed switch chain technique. This application is suitable for almost all liquids as it provides a constant indication of liquid level regardless of foam or changes in the dielectric number, in the conductivity, the pressure or the temperature.
The 5343 can also take in resistor signals in the range from 0…100 kOhm - this for applications where a linear or non-linear resistor signal needs to be converted to a linear 4...20 mA process signal.
Further expanding the possible industrial process world wide applications for the PR 5343
With these three new approvals PR is further expanding the possible industrial process world wide applications of this transmitter. For the 5343A these approvals are in addition to existing ATEX, DNV Marine, and GOST R approvals.
For the 5343B type the three new approvals are in addition to existing ATEX, GOST R, GOST Ex, and DNV Marine approvals.
