PR 5337 transmitter with HART 7 protocol
Designed for your future temperature applications…
PR electronics has launched the 5337, one of the world’s first head-mounted 2-wire temperature transmitters with HART 7 protocol. The 5337 is fully compatible with the well-known 5335 HART 5 transmitter, but has exciting new features. You can easily configure the 5337 transmitter to run the HART 5 protocol if required by the host system, and if the system is later upgraded to HART 7, you can easily reconfigure the 5337 to its original HART 7 functionality… making the 5337 a perfect solution for both present and future HART applications.
As you’ve come to expect from our 5335, the new 5337 HART transmitter makes high accuracy measurements of one or two TC or RTD temperature sensors, linear resistors or mV signals. The analog 4…20 mA output transmits a scaled process signal representing of one of the five available process variables.
Both DD and DTM drivers are freely available, which means the 5337 is easily programmed with a standard HART handheld terminal, PR electronics PReset software, or by using a HART modem with FDT software like Pactware, which can be downloaded from our website.
Meeting the NAMUR NE21 recommendations, the 5337 HART transmitter provides top performance in harsh EMC environments, and the transmitter meets the NAMUR NE43 and NE89 recommendations as well. The 5337 is available in standard or Ex/I.S. versions, with ATEX, IECEx, CSA and Inmetro approvals. A high 1.5 kVAC isolation as well as SIL capability and marine approval make the 5337 transmitter the right choice for world wide applications ... today and in the future.
