PR electronics has invested in its own people to create highly educated ATEX specialists in the countries where PR electronics is represented. These specialists provide guidance to PR electronics customers, sales, and support teams in these areas, helping them choose the correct I.S. isolation barriers and interfaces for their application.
PR electronics’ team of highly educated ATEX specialists are ready to help you select the correct PR Intrinsically Safe products for your application. Their expertise in the area of intrinsic safety (I.S.) is based on a thorough understanding of I.S. applications, the PR units used in these applications - and extensive training.

INERIS Ism-ATEX certification
This qualification is based on the French Notified Body INERIS Ism-ATEX certification program.
According to this program, certificates of competency can be obtained after successfully completing different levels of training and evaluation.
PR electronics' ATEX I.S. specialists are trained to understand the different protection modes and their requirements in terms of installation, service, and maintenance in hazardous areas, including device marking and the match between marking and installation requirements. The majority of our specialists hold a level 1 or 2 certificate. We also have people who have achieved level 3 trainer certification, and who provide Atex training to our customers.

I.S. product training
In addition to the INERIS Ism-ATEX training, all PR I.S. specialists are enrolled in PR’s I.S. product training programs, providing them with in-depth knowledge of PR’s I.S. devices, the solutions they provide, and application areas.
