Service water tank

 

 

Filtrated and disinfected water is used to cool down instruments and other mechanical parts in the process. This water is stored in the service water tank. It is of great importance that the tank contains the correct amount of water at all times, so accurate level monitoring is required.

 

A 2-wire pressure transmitter is used for level indication. This transmitter must be energized and measured with an isolator to avoid noise issues. The 6 mm PR 3104 isolated converter is the perfect device to meet these challenges. It provides high accuracy measurements, and its slim housing makes it a great solution in applications with limited space in the control cabinet.
